Police Chief Frank Allocco Formally Takes The Lead In Holmdel

New chief is sworn in, other officers promoted and sworn into new positions in Holmdel Police Department.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Chief Frank Allocco publicly took the oath of office recently at a Holmdel Police Department swearing-in ceremony.

Allocco has been leading the department since March 1, after the retirement of Chief John Mioduszewski earlier this year.

The following officers were also promoted and sworn in to their new positions, filling vacancies created by the former chief's retirement, according to the department:

  • Capt. Jeffrey Ackerson
  • Capt. Michael Pigott
  • Lt. Michael Hughes
  • Lt. Vincent Imperato
  • Lt. William Bernard
  • Sgt. Frank Sigismondi
  • Sgt. Michael Michalski
  • Sgt. David D’Arcy

In addition to the promotions, three new officers were sworn in:

  • Ptl. Gabrielle DeGroat
  • Ptl. Keith Pettway
  • Ptl. Monica Bishop
