Roadwork On Clark Street In Hazlet Set To Start On Aug. 23

HAZLET, NJ — Roadwork on Clark Street is set to begin at 7 a.m. on Aug. 23, according to the Hazlet Police Department.

Clark Street will be closed at Lloyd Road going towards the Garden State Parkway North entrance.

A detour will be in place. Instead of making the right onto Clark Street eastbound to get to the parkway, drivers will continue straight on Lloyd Road (which turns into Broadway once in Keyport) until they reach the ramp to Route 35. They will then merge onto the highway and keep to the right to find the ramp to the Parkway North entrance.

Clark Street westbound (heading towards Lloyd Road) will be open to all traffic for those who need to access Phyllis Street and Allen Street.
