This Sunday is Last Bennent Running Summer Long Run for 2014

Having run all summer long, this Sunday, August 10, will be the final Bennett Long Run for the year.

All runners are invited, including “high schoolers, collegiate runners, coaches, recreational runners, weekend warriors, elites, and everything in between,” according to the Bennett Long Run website. However, runners under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on the run.

Runners will meet on Sunday morning in the Holmdel High School Parking lot overlooking the track, at 8 a.m. “ready to start the run at 8:15 sharp”.

Holmdel High School is located at 36 Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel.

Although the runs are considered informal, they attract ”several of the state’s top high school runners and many college runners”.

Bennett Running supplies some water, Gatorade and bagels, but runners are welcome to bring extra supplies for the group.
