Suspects Who Fled Accident Caught With Holmdel Help
Holmdel police say they assisted state police in catching suspects who fled a car accident on the Garden State Parkway.
HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Police Department assisted the New Jersey State Police with locating suspects that fled a motor vehicle accident on the Garden State Parkway, police said Saturday in a Facebook post.
Three of the four suspects were apprehended, the department reported. The fourth fled the area in a stolen vehicle. No further suspects were believed to be in the area.
Holmdel police said the state police are investigating the matter, but state police did not have any more details immediately available on Sunday.

Police did not say where the car was stolen from. But they advised residents to lock their cars, take their keys and secure their homes.
Authorities had searched the area of North Beers Street, Holmdel Road and Bethany Road before the suspects were caught, Holmdel police said in the post.
