Update: Driver Taken to Hospital After Vehicle Overturned in Holmdel Accident, Police Say

A Morganville man was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center for injuries sustained after his vehicle overturned in Holmdel Monday.

The Holmdel Police have released information about an earlier accident that occured on County Road 520 between Middletown Road and Longbridge Road.

Police responded at approximately 11:41 on Monday to a report of a motor vehicle crash where the vehicle had overturned and the driver possibly entrapped. The driver was identified as David Adoni, 18, of Morganville.

According to Holmdel Police Lt. Michael Pigott, Holmdel Police Officer’, along with members of the Holmdel First Aid Squad and the Holmdel Fire Department, were able to get Adoni out of the vehicle. Adoni was treated for injuries at the scene and transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for further treatment.

Holmdel Police Officer John Maguire was the investigating officer, and he was assisted at the scene by Policd Sgt. Groder, Office Michalski, and members of the Holmdel First Aid and Holmdel Fire Companies.
