UPDATE: Holmdel Woman Punched Officer, Threatened to Find and Kill Officer's Children
A Holmdel woman was arrested earlier in the week for DUI had kicked out at one officer, and punched another while making threats.

Details have been released in the case of a Holmdel resident who was arrested on August 17 for multiple charges, including eluding and assault on an officer, after an attempted motor vehicle stop.
Katherine Rossics, 28, was charged with eluding officers after failing to stop for Holmdel Officer Walter Weber in the early morning hours for suspected DUI. The chase ended in Rossics driveway, where she then proceeded to allegedly fight back against officers who tried to place her under arrest.
According to Monmouth County Courthouse records, Rossics ”kicked out” at Weber, and also punched a Keyport officer assisting the scene, Officer Cassandra Aumack, allegedly with a “closed fist” to Aunack’s cheek. Aumack also was treated at Bayshore Hospital for a scratch on her left arm inflicted by Rossics.

Rossics was charged with terroristic threats stemming from allegedly stating multiple times to Holmdel Sgt. Edward Martinez, “I will find out where you live and kill your kids,” multiple times.
Rossics is currently being held at Monmouth County Correctional Institute with bail set at $100,000 bail, with no 10% option. A first court appearance has been scheduled for August 27 at 9:00 a.m.
