A perimeter was established, and negotiators made multiple, unsuccessful attempts to communicate with the occupant.

Authorities eventually breached the residence and found that the resident had died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It is unclear if anyone else was in the residence; however, no other casualties were reported.

Authorities have not released the identity of the dead occupant.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and officials added that there is no present danger to the public.
