Renaissance Festival Back For 2019 In Sparta

Held across two weekends, the family-friendly festival will take you back to Renaissance times.

SPARTA, NJ — The Sparta Renaissance Festival is back for its third year in Sparta this weekend and next.

The festival transforms a Sparta campground into a medieval renaissance village. Attendees can shop at 50 different vendors, enjoy medieval foods (including the fan-favorite turkey legs), watch musical shows and see the knightly tournaments.

Jousting will be featured on the first weekend, while the Knights of Sussex will put on a sword fighting show the second weekend, among other shows.
