ShopRite Opening New Sparta Location

The new grocery store is already hiring ahead of a project opening later this year.

SPARTA, NJ — A ShopRite is opening up in Sparta later this year, the company announced.

The new grocery store will be located at 18 North Village Boulevard. An exact opening date hasn't been announced yet, but will likely be sometime this fall.

The ShopRite will be owned by the Romano family through their RoNetco Supermarkets company. The company currently owns grocery stores in Netcong, Byram, Flanders, Newton, Mansfield, Succasunna, Sparta and Franklin.

It will offer online ordering for pick up and delivery, a spokesperson said.

Looking for a new job? The ShopRite is hiring ahead of their projected fall opening. You can apply online, or in person at the hiring center in the parking lot of the new building. The hiring center is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
