Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton on March 2, 2022 by Chad Hines.

Hines, age 42, of Little Ferry, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for May 9, 2022 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C.
The defendant admitted to possessing heroin on his person and in his vehicle on May 6, 2020 in Vernon Township.
