Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courtroom in Newton on February 28, 2022 by Justine Lynn.

Lynn, age 44, of Franklin, pled guilty to Theft, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for April 22, 2022 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted within Hardyston Township, that between the dates of January 30, 2018 and January 30, 2019, while serving as treasurer of the organization, she unlawfully took money belonging to Wallkill Valley Junior Football and Cheerleading Inc., having a value of more than $500.00 but less than $75,000.00, and took the same for her own personal use purposely depriving the owner thereof.
