Hopewell Township Health Department Plans Water Discussion

Hopewell Township’s Health Department welcomes the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) staff for an informational session about Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in drinking water on Tuesday, August 23rd at 6:30pm. The meeting will take place virtually, using the Microsoft Teams platform.

Attendees will learn about these compounds- what they are, why they cause concern, how sampling occurs, and what resources are available if a determination is made that water is contaminated.
