3rd Annual Madison Beggs Kicks 4 Soccer Marathon: Music, Food, Dunk Tank, and More

The “Madison Beggs Kicks 4 Kids Soccer Marathon“ is an event being held in memory of Madison Beggs, a young girl from Howell who lost her 22 month battle with brain cancer in June of 2012. Madison is remembered by all who knew her as a brave and courageous girl who inspired all to be strong and to never give up. Her positive attitude toward her fight led to her motto, “One Day at a Time”.

Our goal through the Soccer Marathon is to make a positive impact on as many lives as we can. If we can positively affect just ONE life then we will have made the world a better place. Our past two soccer marathons have been very successful, as we raised $50,000 to donate to pediatric cancer.

On Saturday, Sept 13th, 2014, we will be holding the 3rd Annual Soccer Marathon at Soldier Memorial Park, across from Maxim Road on Lakewood Farmingdale Road in Howell Township. The day will consist of a soccer marathon, gift auction, music, carnival games, an inflatable for jumping, a dunk tank, the Howell Elk’s soccer shootout, music, food, raffle, face painting, and more!

We are sponsored by The Frances Foundation for Kids Fighting Cancer, an approved 501c3 charity. In order for this event to be successful, we are relying on the generosity of establishments through sponsorships and donations, as well as in soccer team registrations. The proceeds of this year’s marathon will go to The Robert Wood Johnson Oncology Floor, The Frances Foundation for Kids Fighting Cancer, and The St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
