Chamber Dinner Dance Friday Night

The Howell Chamber of Commerce will recognize community members of all types tonight at their 33rd Annual Dinner Dance.

Being held this year at Eagle Oaks Country Club individuals and groups will be recognized for their service to the township over the past year. The Citizen of the year will be Allen Kaplan while John Blewett Inc. Scrap Recycling will be honored as Business of the Year. Fred Bauer was named volunteer of the year and the Howell PAL will be recognized for its service to Howell during Hurricane Sandy. Other honorees include John Van Noy who will receive the lifetime achievement award and Ann Eby who will be recognized for her years of service.

The National Weather Service is predicting a cool but clear day across our area with a high temperature of 55 degrees expected during the day with a low of 33 that includes patchy frost after 4 a.m.
