HOWELL, NJ — Sunday's snowfall has led to delayed openings for students and staff in the Howell Township and Freehold Regional High school districts on Monday, the districts announced.
Both districts will have 90-minute delays, school officials said. The delay means the Howell Police Athletic League before-care programs are canceled, officials said.
Towns throughout the area received 8 inches of snow or more from the storm that moved through New Jersey late Saturday into Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
