Council Starts Fall Work Tonight

The meeting room at the new Municipal building will have a very different look at tonight’s Council meeting following the resignation of Township Manager Helene Schlegel.

While not listed on the preliminary agenda it is possible that an interim successor could be named at the meeting as part of a busy agenda for the night. Other items include a presentation for participants in the Law Enforcement Youth Academy, a public hearing on an ordinance for the township to buy a little more than seven acres of property to be used for open space and the introduction of an ordinance to sell a township building to the local chapter of the VFW.

The National Weather Service is calling for a mostly cloudy day with a high of 86. The low tonight looks to be around 69 degrees before spiking up to around 92 tomorrow during the day.
