Domestic Violence Organization Seeks Volunteers
A look at events happening in and around Howell on Tuesday October 1, 2013.

One of the most invaluable resources to the Howell Police Department and other neighboring departments in recent years has been a group of citizen volunteers who are currently looking for new members.
180 Turning Lives Around is looking for new volunteers with their advocacy and support roles for people dealing with domestic violence situations. The organization is looking for people to join their Domestic Violence Response team and will begin training tonight at the Neptune Municipal Court. The training continues through October 24 and people interested in joining are asked to contact Tina Morgan at tinam@180nj.org or call 732-264-4360 ext. 4272.
The first day of October is also World Vegetarian Day so for people who do not like meat this is your day to enjoy a vegetable enriched treat. The forecast for today calls for fog in the morning before a mostly sunny day with a high near 79 and a low of 60 tonight.
