Free Child Car Seat Check, Installation In Howell Tuesday
Go to the Walmart in Howell between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday to have police check if your child's car seat is installed correctly.
HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township Police Department, partnering with Walmart Howell, will offer a child passenger safety checkpoint Tuesday, June 27.
Each car seat will be properly checked and reinstalled, which takes approximately 30-40 minutes, police said.
Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will inspect your car seat for any improper installation, improper use, expiration dates and recalls.

If any issues are observed, the technician will address the problems and educate the caregiver, in case the seat needs to be installed in another vehicle.
The checkpoint is Tuesday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmart, 4900 Route 9S in Howell.
