Giving Tuesday: Monmouth Park System Calls For Donations

Donations made to Monmouth County Friends of the Parks are tax deductible.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Although Giving Tuesday only comes once a year, nonprofit organization Monmouth County Friends of the Parks relies on donations year round. Even if Giving Tuesday has already passed you by, it's never too late to lend a helping hand to the ecosystems, park patrons and youths who rely on the park system.

Friends of The Parks, founded in 1991, is composed of citizens and businesses who help support the park system and its many programs, exhibits, beautification projects and its Recreation Assistance Program, which helps underprivileged youth enjoy sports and recreational activities.

Now, it's asking for support from the community.

The organization also accepts donations in any amount.
