Howell BOE Meeting Wednesday Night

A look at events happening around Howell on Wednesday October 2, 2013.

The Howell Board of Education will meet tonight at Middle School North in one of the final meetings before the November Elections.

As the school year heads into the second month the board members will be appointing people to fill still vacant positions and approving a variety of leaves of absence for current staff members going forward. The agenda for the 8 p.m. meeting also includes an update from Superintendent Enid Golden on the district’s Violence, Vandalism and Harassment/Intimidation and Bullying Report.

The Howell Township Council is also holding a special meeting tonight at the new Municipal Building. The bulk of the meeting will be held in executive session at 5:30 as the council looks to replace longtime Township Manager Helene Schlegel.
