After a nearly three month long investigation the Howell Police Department has identified the woman they believe stole the credit card of an 80 year old victim and used it in stores across the Township.
Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd said the woman has been identified as 50-year-old Nancy Hagadorn of James Court. Hagadorn has been charged with five counts third degree credit card fraud and one count of theft of a credit card by the Jackson Police Department.
The charges stem from an incident on July 3 when the 80-year-old woman reported having either lost her credit card or having it stolen from the Shoprite in Jackson. The card was then used in at least five township businesses where the suspect, later identified as Hagadorn, was seen on surveillance videos.
