The Howell Police Department is looking for the public's help to provide any possible information on a possible assault case last week in the township. Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd reported that on September 22 at approximately 5 p.m. there was an aggravated assault in the parking lot at Advance Auto Parts located at 5139 Route 9 North. Dodd said two men had reportedly been involved in a fight in the parking lot and when the fight ended one of the men got into what was believed to be a blue Honda Civic and hit the other man before fleeing the area. The victim reportedly suffered a dislocated shoulder and was taken to Kimball Medical Center for treatment. The suspect is was described as a white male in his mid 20's, close to six feet tall with a medium build and dirty blonde hair just past shoulder length. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Scott Revilak at 732-938-4575 ext. 2876.
