Holiday Tunes From Billy Lawlor Trio To Return To Howell Library

A Howell Library musical tradition is back on Saturday with the appearance of the Billy Lawlor Trio, after COVID postponements.

HOWELL, NJ — After a two-year "pandemic pause," the Billy Lawlor Trio is returning to the Howell Library with smooth and jazzy renditions of favorite holiday tunes.

The Howell Library tradition will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the library at 318 Old Tavern Road, Howell.

Lawlor is a keyboardist, vocalist and has been appearing on the jersey Shore music scene since the 1970s. He is joined by Gary Mazzaroppi on upright bass and Tommy Labella on saxophone, the library says.

Howell Public Library is part of the Monmouth County Library System.
