Jersey Cash 5 Winning Ticket Sold At Howell Convenience Store

HOWELL, NJ — A Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket sold in Howell matched all five numbers drawn, winning the $291,224 jackpot from the Wednesday, June 28, drawing, lottery officials announced.

The winning ticket was sold at The Howell Corner Store, 2989 Route 9 in Howell.

The store said Thursday that no one has come forward yet. But having a large jackpot winner was "very exciting" for the store. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold.

The winning numbers were: 03, 06, 09, 25 and 36 and the XTRA number was: 03.

"Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner," said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.

In other lottery results, one New Jersey Lottery ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn for the Wednesday, June 28, drawing winning the $50,000 second-tier prize. That ticket was sold at Trenton News Now, 72 South Clinton Ave., Trenton in Mercer County.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, June 28, drawing were: 19, 25, 34, 57, and 68. The Red
Power Ball number was 04. The Power Play was 5X. 32,090 New Jersey players took home an estimated $232,517 in prizes ranging from $4 to $500.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $493,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, July 1, at 10:59 pm.

The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Wednesday, June 28, drawing were: 27, 33, 48, 64 and 69. The Double Play Ball number was 23.
