Man's Body Found At Recycling Center In Monmouth County: NJ State Police

The body was discovered as employees of the facility were sorting materials for recycling, New Jersey State Police said.

FARMINGDALE, NJ — Authorities are investigating how the body of a man wound up at a recycling facility in Farmingdale, New Jersey State Police said Thursday.

State police were called to Republic Services Recycling Facility in Farmingdale at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday after employees of the facility found the body while sorting materials, Sgt. Charles Marchan said.

The man's body was found on the conveyor belt, Marchan said.

The man's identity has not been determined, he said, and the investigation is continuing.
