Recycling Center Hours Shortened In Howell For Fall Fest

HOWELL, NJ — If you have plans to take items to the Howell Township Recycling Center on Saturday, Oct. 19, take note: the center will be closing early, officials said.

The township is hosting its Fall Fest beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Glen Park.

Because of that, the recycling center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The center will resume normal hours next week.

Fall Fest and the annual car show of the Optimist Club of Howell will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 19. Parking at Oak Glen Park is limited; residents are encouraged to park at Howell Middle School North or Howell Middle School South and take the shuttles to the event.
