One of the favorite annual events in Howell in the Fall is the Howell-O-Ween Spooktacular and this year figures to be no exception. Set to be held on October 23 at Oak Glen Park the Spooktacular will feature the usual games and crafts with a few added surprises on the schedule. Starting at 5:30 visitors will be able to show off their costumes leading up to the annual costume contest at 6 p.m. After the winners have been decided a large movie screen will be set up and Hotel Transylvania will be played for the people in attendance. People wishing to watch the movie should bring blankets or low back chairs to enjoy the movie in comfort. People coming to the park are asked to bring cans or boxes of pet food that can be donated to the Humane Society. The rain date is scheduled for Thursday October, 24.
