Suspects Sought In $250K Jewelry Theft From Howell Home

Howell police say two men robbed jewelry worth $250,000 from a West Farms Road home Dec. 26 after forcing their way in.

HOWELL, NJ — Two men walked out of the woods near a West Farms Road home and forced their way into the unoccupied house the day after Christmas, taking $250,000 worth of jewelry, police said.

Howell police are investigating after owners reported the incident that happened Dec. 26. Surveillance video shows the men walking from the woods west of the house at around 1:23 in the afternoon.

They came to a rear door and forced it open, police said. No one was home at the time.

One of the men is seen on an interior camera going right to the bedroom and directly to a drawer with the jewelry and leaving immediately.

The two were last seen walking away from the house, headed west, police said.

The residents reported this burglary and a past theft, police said.
