A crash on Ford Road left two riders with minor injuries after their bike tipped over going around a curve.
Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd of the Howell Police Department reported that at around 2:20 on Tuesday night the department got reports of the crash with two injured people. Officers found the bike and the riders on Ford Road receiving treatment from members of the Southard Fire Department.
Following the crash the two riders said they were heading west on Ford Road around a sharp bend and when they leaned outwards the bike swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic and slipped on gravel before dumping them on their right side. The bike eventually came to rest partially on a grassy area just off the road.
