Two Men Hospitalized After A Truck-Car Collision In Howell
Both men, one 64 and one 25, were in stable condition after the Thursday evening crash on Southard Avenue in Howell.
HOWELL, NJ — Two men are in stable condition after a truck-car collision Thursday evening in Howell Township on Southard Avenue, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Nov. 10, members of the Howell Township Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office responded to a stretch of Southard Avenue just east of Manassa Road on a report of the collision, the office said.
There, first responders located the two vehicles involved: a Ford F150 pickup truck operated by a 64-year-old resident of Jackson Township in Ocean County and a Ford Focus hatchback operated by a 25-year-old resident of Howell.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported via medical helicopter to Jersey Shore Regional Medical Center in Neptune for treatment of serious injuries, while the driver of the hatchback was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
As of Friday afternoon, both men remained hospitalized in stable condition.

The circumstances behind this matter remain under investigation by the police and prosecutor's office and by the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART).
