Lakeland Gives Department for Persons with Disabilities Golf Tournament $2,500 Boost

Bank heads sponsorship of fundraising event.

Lakeland Bank continues to show its support for the Department for Persons with Disabilities.

The bank contributed $2,500, with a check delivered by assistant vice president Tom McMinn and vice president Russell Dunn, to be the event sponsor of the Department for Persons With Disabilities' Β 37thΒ Annual Wiegand Farm Golf Classic to be held on June 27, 2011 at the Picatinny Arsenal.

β€œLakeland Bank’s support of the Department for Persons with Disabilities is truly admirable. Their continuous generosity has truly made a difference in the lives of adults with special needs," said Chris Brancato, director of development and public relations for the DPD.

The event includes lunch, greens fees, prize competitions, a buffet dinner, awards ceremony, auction and door prize entry, costs $150 per golfer, or $60 for non-golfers to attend dinner.
