MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Students, staff, and parents may notice heightened security at Jefferson Township public schools this week.
According to Jefferson police and school officials, a concerning social media post has prompted a larger police presence in local schools.
Authorities said that there is not an immediate threat, and that the beefed-up security is “out of an abundance of caution.”
