This walk is sponsored by the Lakeland Association of Churches, a group of 10 inter-denominational churches around Lake Hopatcong which was formed after the August 2000 Flood. The proceeds from the Hunger Walk are used for the emergency fund, which gives assistance to our area families who are struggling to pay for utilities and other basic needs.
