Sweet Taste of Jefferson

The high school cafeteria will be transformed into an intimate bistro, complete with tablecloths and candlelight, at the Sweet Taste of Jefferson, on Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m.  The annual event features student ensembles from the JTHS instrumental program and luscious desserts provided by the area's finest restaurants. This year 34 students from Haileybury School in Melbourne, Australia will perform at Sweet Taste of Jefferson.  The group will perform as a full ensemble which includes a strings and rhythm section, as well as featured vocalists.

Last year's event drew more than 150 people who enjoyed the smooth sounds of various musical styles, including original student compositions and sweet treats such as lime cheesecake, Chocolate Vesuvias Cake, Tira Misu, and Banana Chocolate Mousse Pie.

Tickets are $7 for general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved in advance by calling 973-697-0405.
