Fight at High School Sends One to Hospital, Police Say

One juvenile was charged with aggravated assault, authorities said.

A fight involving two male students at Jefferson Township High School on Monday sent one to the hospital and resulted in aggravated assault charges for the other, according to Jefferson Township police.

A 14-year-old student was taken from the school to the hospital with head injuries, police said. Police said they did not know the extent of the injuries.

The other student, 15, was taken to police headquarters, where he was charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault, and released to his parents, police said.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
