Get Rid Of Old Medications In Jefferson This Weekend

Jefferson is participating in the National Drug Take Back Day.

JEFFERSON, NJ — Safely dispose of old and unneeded medications in Jefferson this weekend, as police participate in the DEA's National Drug Takeback Day.

Residents can drop off their old medications on October 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. at the Jefferson Municipal Building. During the event, police will accept any types of medications, with the exception of needles.

So far, 222,959 pounds of medication have been collected over the course of 15 take back events in New Jersey.
