βShe is an experienced administrator, and is working with Mr. Mundi (principal) and Mr. Cinotti (vice principal) to ensure that the school runs smoothly,β Fuchs said.
In addition to the unknown circumstances surrounding Currieβs future, the district also accepted the retirement of 39-year veteran vice principal John Cinotti. His retirement date is Aug. 31.
βThe retirement of Mr. Cinotti is a tremendous loss to the district. He will be greatly missed by students and staff,β Fuchs said.
βHaving time to look for a replacement is an advantage and we have already begun to advertise. I am pleased to report there has been good response so far,β she said. βIf the pool of candidates is a deep one, I am confident that we can find someone to fill Mr. Cinottiβs βvery big shoesβ.β
