Jefferson Township Library Satisfies 'A Taste for Poetry'
Program aims to increase interest in poems.
Jefferson Township residents quenched their hunger for both poetry and food at a program at the library on Wednesday
"A Taste for Poetry," headed by librarian Chris O'Brien, involved residents analyzing poetry while munching on their own lunch, or iced tea and cookies provided by the library. And while the head count wasn't large yet, the ideas shared were.
"This is a program that we're working to get off the ground," O'Brien said. "A lot of people ignore poetry because they think it is hard to understand. We're trying to change that.

"There's no right or wrong way to interpret poetry," she continued. "Each poem has a different meaning for everyone."
The group will meet next at1 p.m. on June 8.
