Jefferson Woman Takes Holistic Approach to Health

Audrey Dworak can help you meet your health and wellness goals.

Audrey Dworak has wanted to be a health coach for as long as she can remember. The Jefferson Township woman has made that dream come true with her own business, Your Whole Self Wellness. She provides a holistic approach to health and wellness that she believes clients may not get elsewhere.

“As a holistic health coach, I look at the client’s whole life from every aspect,” she said. “Some people have tried everything and can’t reach their wellness their goals. That’s where I come in. I help people said achievable goals, and we set up a plan and work together.”

A potential new client fills out a health history, and then meets with Dworak for an initial breakthrough session.

“That gets them 45 minutes of my undivided attention to talk about themselves,” she said. “They can tell me about what’s not working in their lives, and I give them recommendations that they can take away with them that day.”

After that, clients would set up meetings with Dworak every other week to continue to work on the goals they’ve set.

Your Whole Self Wellness offers payment plans and small group plans to make holistic health coaching more affordable.

“There are a lot of advantages to group sessions,” she said. “Every client can get support from the others in the group. And there’s a private Facebook page that clients can go on for more support.”

Dworak also offers health-related programs in her business. She recently did a stress workshop at the Rockaway Township Public Library with Kristine Wilsusen, Jefferson Township’s health educator.

She also holds a monthly series at the Jefferson Township Public Library, the Get Healthy Movie Series. The next one, scheduled for Oct. 2, will feature the movie “Vegucated,” followed by a question-and-answer session and a healthy smoothie. The session is free.

“I’ve always wanted to be in a field where I can help people with health and wellness,” she said. “It’s one of the most important aspects of life, and if something isn’t working right you’re not living your best life.”
