Β What Krisinski Brings to the Race: Business experience: β€œI think the focus of the board should be to create policies for the administration. That doesn’t seem to be the direction in which this board is going. My business experience can help put the board back on track with what communities are looking for.”

Β Krisinski’s List of the Most Important Issues Facing the Board:

The Students: We need to provide our students with the best possible programs and educational opportunities that we can afford while being cognizant of the fact that the local tax burden can’t be sustained at the current rate. We need to take a close objective view of the spending by the current administration. Do we really need to spend a $1 million renovating the Drummond School, or is it best spent inside the classrooms?

Public Perception of the Board’s Actions: Our society runs in an advanced technology and communication field. With that, I looked at the BOE website a week ago and saw that the minutes from December 2010 are finally posted. It's April 2011; hat has happened over the last three months? The Board needs to be more transparent on the public issues.
