Two-Car Accident Sends Man to Hospital, Police Say

A Jefferson man was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries following an accident on Thursday afternoon at Berkshire Valley Road and Dover Milton Road, Jefferson Township police said.

Police said that the initial investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Miguel Torres, 57, of Jefferson Township, attempted to make a left turn from Berkshire Valley Road onto Dover Milton Road and hit a vehicle operated by Jaclyn Olsyn, 23, also of Jefferson Township.

The Milton First Aid Squad responded. Torres was taken to St. Clare's in Dover for moderate injuries, police said.

No summonses were issued for the accident, police said.
