Unitarian Universalist OC Congregation Presents "Bridging the Divide When Our Values Collide"

This presentation will show ways in which UU members can have honest conversations with individuals who differ in values and opinions while continuing to believe and act compassionately with respect for the other person. We need to act in ways that promote justice, equity and compassion in our human relationships. Various strategies will be taught on how to listen and understand where the other person is coming from while also gently challenging them on beliefs that are contrary to promoting justice, equity and compassion.
