Lacey Police Arrest Island Heights Man For Heroin Possession
Arrest came after police responded to a shoplifting report in Kohl's.

Lacey police recently arrested an Island Heights man for possession on heroin after Officer George Resetar responded to Kohls on a shoplifting report, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Resetar went to the store on Route 9 North at 3:58 p.m. on June 6. Investigation at the scene resulted in the arrest of Jacob N. Barney, 24, Lake Avenue on an outstanding $350 South Toms River warrant. He was also found to be in possession of heroin. Barney was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River to await a bail hearing, the chief said.
