Lacey Police Charge Forked River Man With Possession Of CDS While Driving

Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River man on numerous charges after a traffic stop on Route 9 near Bay Way in Lanoka Harbor, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Anthony Sarno stopped Michael A. Sparrowe, 20, Skiffway Drive at 12:47 a.m.on May 24 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was taken to police headquarters where he was also charged with underage possession of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, driving with an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to observe a traffic control device and a provisional driver violation, the chief said.
He was released after receiving the charges, DiBella said.
