Lacey Police Charge Lanoka Harbor Man With Drunk Driving After He Hits Mailbox And Flees
Ivan Garrison facing numerous other traffic violations, police chief says.

Lacey police recently charged a Lanoka Harbor man with driving under the influence and a host of other traffic offenses after he struck a mailbox and left the accident scene, Police Chief Michael DiBella said.
Acting-Sergeant Dimitri Tsarnas and Officer Christopher Meyler responded to the 100 block of Brick Avenue in Lanoka Harbor at 12:48 p.m. on Jan. 26 on a report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash involving a mailbox, the chief said.
Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, Ivan B. Garrison, 38, Quail Lane North in Lanoka Harbor, for drunk driving. He was taken to police headquarters and processed. Garrison was released after receiving traffic summonses for DUI, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, failure to report a motor vehicle crash, driving with a suspended license, failure to maintain lane, and failure to install an interlock device, DiBella said.
