
Lacey police are investigating the theft of a woman's wedding ring stolen from her Bobwhite Court home in Forked River recently, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer John D. Simonson responded to the home at 5:49 p.m. on Sept. 20 on a theft report. The victim said told police that between Saturday evening on Sept.17 and Monday afternoon on Sept. 19, someone entered her home and stole the ring, which is valued at $3,100, the chief said.
There were no signs of forced entry, DiBella said.
