Man Charged With Arson After Setting 3 Fires In Lakewood Township: Authorities
Israel Salgado-Miron was charged with aggravated arson and two counts of arson, authorities said Sunday.

LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Lakewood man is charged with setting three fires Saturday in Lakewood Township, according to authorities.
Israel Salgado-Miron, 39, was charged with aggravated arson and two counts of arson, authorities said Sunday.
Emergency personnel responded around 10:30 p.m. Saturday to a blaze in the basement window well of a structure on East Eighth Street and, shortly afterward, they found two brush fires along railroad tracks nearby, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office. Firefighters were able to extinguish all three fires, authorities said.

Salgado-Miron was identified as the person responsible for the fires, taken into custody and brought to Ocean County jail pending a detention hearing, according to authorities.
