Oceanport Library Gets $1,900 Donation

The Oceanport Library got a $1,900 donation from the New Jersey Library Association (NJLA) on Wednesday.

The donation will be used to purchase books and audiobooks for the library, which reopened earlier this summer after being damaged by Hurricane Sandy.

The Sea Bright and Monmouth Beach libraries also received $1,900 each from the association.

The NJLA took in more than $13,000 in donations and formed the Save Our New Jersey Libraries fund. The money raised is being equally distributed to the seven libraries throughout the state that were damaged by Hurricane Sandy.
