Free Halloween 'Swap Shop' For Kids Costumes In Livingston: 2025 Events
A free Halloween costume "swap shop" for children will take place in Livingston.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — A free Halloween costume “swap shop” for children will take place in Livingston on Saturday, Oct. 4.
The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus building, 299 Eisenhower Parkway.
“Halloween contributes thousands of pounds of waste to landfills every year and costumes are a big part of this,” organizers said. “They are often made of plastic and other synthetic materials which do not break down easily. Giving costumes a second (or third) life can save thousands of pounds of trash from making its way to landfills and waterways.”
