'Get Out the Vote' Event In Livingston For National Voter Registration Day

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A nonpartisan “Get Out the Vote” event will take place in Livingston on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The National Council of Jewish Women-Essex County section will host the event from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue. The event also coincides with National Voter Registration Day.

  • Write postcards to New Jersey voters to make sure that they are registered and know where to vote on Election Day
  • Engage in local efforts with The League of Women Voters
  • Hear from speakers on “What’s at Stake” in this election
  • Pack “Post Abortion Care Kits” to be distributed to women’s health centers in New Jersey

The event is free and open to the public. There is a suggested donation of one book of postcard stamps or an item from the PACK wish list (see QR code in flyer below).
